THE WORK WE LOVE

Juniper Midwives offer safe, no-cost primary maternity care to all pregnant people and their loved ones along their journeys into parenthood, with a special focus on providing outreach and care to Indigenous families.  We welcome anyone seeking a midwife, in the Calgary area and surrounding First Nations, to apply for care.

Our services include full-scope prenatal care with the ability to order and interpret all routine labs and ultrasounds in pregnancy. We offer choice of birth place including hospital, home or birth centre.

After baby arrives, midwives provide medical check-ups and infant feeding support for families in the comfort of their own homes - and our services are completely covered by Alberta Health Services!

We are proud to offer longer prenatal appointments which allow expectant parents the time needed to gain confidence and knowledge in making informed choices that align with their unique paths through pregnancy, loss, birth, and beyond.
