OUR MISSION

Our midwives strive to offer family-centered maternity care choices that celebrate diversity and reduce barriers to exceptional community-based care. We are proud to offer care in Calgary and surrounding First Nations.

About Us: Meet the Team

Throughout your pregnancy, you’ll get

to know your midwives well and we think that’s pretty important. Midwives work in small teams to build safe, meaningful relationships with clients.

Knowing and trusting the midwife who will be at your birth means that you can spend more time focusing on trusting your body and birthing without fear.

Your midwifery team is on-call for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We are proud to offer midwifery care to Indigenous and non-Indigenous families in the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 region.

We would like to acknowledge our gratitude to the Nations who graciously share and                            welcome us on their ancestral homelands, including the Blackfoot Confederacy                                 (comprising the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation,                           and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations),
As well as the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III.

Beyond acknowledgement, our mission is to give back to the Nations whose lands we                     occupy and share, by committing to the growth of community-based midwifery through service and mentorship.
