I am Métis with family from the Red River District.

I was raised on the land of the  Lekwungen and  the WSÁNEĆ people in Victoria and moved to Treaty 7 to study Midwifery at Mount Royal University. Before going back to school I worked in theatre across Canada an in the United  Kingdom.

I am passionate about informed choice

and evidence-based care. I believe that

there is great wisdom in traditional ways of knowing. I am very grateful to the families that welcome me into their experiences of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum
