MELANIE GOODFELLOW 

Hello! My name is Melanie (Mel) Goodfellow, I’m a Registered Midwife joining the Juniper Midwives team, as a locum, until June 2025.  I am so excited to get to provide care for all the wonderful families at Juniper.

 

I’ve been involved within the birth work community for several years now, and began my career as a birth and postpartum doula 5 years before I made the jump into Midwifery. During that time, I had the pleasure of supporting numerous families through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.  Throughout my time as a doula, and now as a midwife, my love and passion for birth work has grown, as does my passion for providing families with compassionate, evidence-based care.

I was born and raised in Calgary, and in my off-call time I enjoy the outdoors, climbing, camping, travelling, and spending time with my fiancé, family, my dog and wonderful friends.
